Shaka started recording his first mix tapes in the late 80s as a Hip Hop and Funk DJ. Eventually more and more Acid, Chicago House and the sounds of Detroit made their way into his mixes. Since then he is a constant in the swiss House scene and releases his own productions on labels like Axodya, Communique, Morris Audio, Floppy Funk, Mental Groove, Enterbt, Traxx Underground, Balance, Kolour Ltd, Local Talk to name but a few. In 2019 Shaka launched his new label Vibes and Grooves to provide a platform to breath life into his personal projects integrating his various influences under one banner with like-minded musicians.
