Shallow formed in Stoke (UK) in the early nineties, their unique heavy, alternative rock, attracted the attention of Rise Above Records with their debut album ’16 Sunsets in 24 hours’ released in 2000. They gained high praise from the likes of Terrorizer magazine - ‘Think classic Sabbath and early Nirvana, then think Hawkwind’. Previous to this they appeared on various compilations including the Lockjaw Records release ‘Helping You Back to Work Vol 2’ and ‘Live at Heimi Hendersons’ EP on Undergroove Recordings, which also attracted attention from Kerrang & Metal Hammer. They’ve shared stages with the likes of Nebula, Orange Goblin, Electric Wizard, Unida, Spiritual Beggars, Spirit Caravan, Feeder, Goatsnake, Cathedral, Iron Monkey and Firebird to name a few. Now after a long hiatus Shallow return with a new album ‘From the Ground Down’ to be released on all digital platforms via Future Noise Recordings on Friday 2nd April 2021.
