Soundersons

Soundersons is an Italian electronic music duo formed in 2016 by Franky Varnelli and Frank Agrario.
The duo achieved significant popularity in advance of 2000s like DJ's as part of the Bologna underground house movement and had continuous success in the years following, combining elements of house music with funk, disco, nu-soul and synthpop influences.
Varnelli and Agrario were originally in a funky-rock band in Lisboa in 2004 named "Fuckthebass" which disbanded after a short period of time, leaving the two to experiment musically with mpc, drum machines, fender rhodes and synthesizers.
The duo released their debut "Osculation Remix" for "Funkabit" through "Garrincha Records" in 2016, two edits "Am I Gonna Be The One" and "Like It" with SpareChangeDisco in Jan 2017 and their studio single "Can't get enough" through "Paper Recordings" in summer 2017.
Franky and Frank met in 2000 at Radio FUjiko FM in Bologna.
The two became good friends and later recorded demo tracks with others from the Radio.
This eventually led to the formation of the funk-based group called "Fuckthebass" with JosË Martines in 2004.
Varnelli and Agrario played keyboards/bass and drum, respectively, while JosË Martines performed on guitar and vocal.
In times where moms give their sons and daughters DJ-courses for their birthdays and deejing has become an Olympic sport, it is nice to see a record that sets a new standard in the genre of mix-albums: "Soundersons" from Italian groove-gurus.
