Shape of Rage

Shape of Rage is a metal band hailing from Providence, Rhode Island. Their roots stem from the heavier old-school bands of the metal genre, including Slayer, Death, Testament, Sepultura, Black Sabbath, Exodus, Killing Joke, and Death Angel, to name a few.
Shape Of Rage was formed in June 2020 by co-founders drummer Pete DeVincent (Feed The Beast) and lead guitarist Bill Pincins (Ritual Sacrifice & Wreak) who were longtime friends and played together in the past. Both Pete and Bill left their previous bands and were looking to form a brand new band amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. They worked with a couple of musicians but could not find the right chemistry until vocalist Mike Daniels (Mechanical Process) joined the band in June of 2021, bringing his brutal vocals combined with unparalleled energy to the band. For months Bill recruited his longtime friend Charlie whom he had previously worked with. In November of 2021, Bassist Charlie Safford (Black Vendetta) joined the band bringing his thunderous finger-playing bass sound to complete the band's lineup, thus opening the floodgates. Shape Of Rage has since been playing shows relentlessly throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut and continues to write and record new music. Shape Of Rage will continue building upon its success, bringing its own brand of metal to the stage, and releasing more metal to the masses.
