Sharpson is an Irish independent multi-genre Producer, ‘Backwards DJ’ and the label boss of the Breakbeat / Hardcore label Choki Biki Records. The London based producer's sound is directly influenced by his upbringing on 90’s UK Rave music ranging from Acid, Breakbeat, House, Techno and Drum & Bass.
As a producer, Sharpson makes an array of electronic music under several monikers. His ‘Sharpson’ production’s stand out with his signature style of integrating ‘Dublin mannerisms’ into his club tracks, courtesy of local hip-hop Irish acts such as Demlot, 5th Element and Wax White. His music has been released on a range of heavy hitting labels such as Dirtybird, Hardcore Energy, Snatch! Records, Solamente and more. Sharpson's music has been supported by the likes of Deborah De Luca, Four Tet, Ed Solo, Riva Starr, Spartaque, BKLAVA and have been featured on music platforms such as SiriusXFM, BBC Radio1, Boiler Room, HÖR, Ministry of Sound, Nialler9. Rinse FM and more.
As a DJ, Sharpson has garnered a name for himself as a DJ through his unique style of DJing with the decks backwards. His DJ sets on Youtube have accumulated hundreds of thousands of views due to his unique style of playing with the decks backwards and inviting members of the audience to DJ! His reputation as a skilled selector and entertainer has seen Sharpson perform all over Europe.
