Meg Ward is a Yorkshire-born DJ and producer carving her own lane in the UK’s electronic underground, known for genre-spanning sets and bass-driven productions that blur the lines between euphoria and grit. Starting out as a Newcastle resident in 2017, she honed her craft through long, genre-fluid sets, shaping her instinctive grasp of the dancefloor.
With deep underground roots and years of graft across clubs and festivals, Meg’s energy behind the decks reflects a sharp understanding of what moves a crowd.
Her productions span raw, club-ready tools to melodic rollers, with standout releases on Shall Not Fade, Needwant, and her own imprint Mega Wavy. Tracks like “Do It Jay” and “Have Ur Love” nod to her rave-fuelled edge, while “Connections” (EA Sports WRC™) and “Disappear” lean into emotive, synth-rich territory. Support has come from HAAi, Jaguar, and Solomun, with spins on BBC Radio 1 and NTS. In 2022, she was nominated Best Breakthrough Producer at DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards.
In 2024, she launched Mega Wavy: a label and platform rooted in community and collaboration. Its debut Collabz project brought together joint productions, culminating in a compilation and a launch at The Glove That Fits. Early nods from DJ Paulette, Chloe Robinson, and DJ Mag confirmed its forward-thinking DIY ethos.
On stage, Meg’s sets balance impact with a sense of play, earning her regular slots at Glastonbury, Creamfields, Warehouse Project, and DC10.
