What started off as two childhood friends playing open mic nights and singer-songwriter sessions soon grew into the explosive rock act known as She Walks Through Dusk. Playing everywhere from local pubs to music festivals, She Walks Through Dusk quickly managed to carve themselves a space in the Tasmanian music scene, becoming known for their combination of gothic-infused lyrics, heavy rock instrumentation, and catchy melodies.
She Walks Through Dusk released their first singles in 2020 to positive reviews. After some line-up changes left the band with only the original duo, Imogen and Amelia took the opportunity to further develop their sound. Inspired by symphonic metal bands like Nightwish and Within Temptation, they started incorporating more orchestral elements into their music. They partnered up with producer Mike Exeter to better bring their vision to life as they work towards releasing their debut album.
