With mentions as “Sweden’s best rock voice” in daily press and worldwide recognition, Mia Karlsson made an impact during her two decades as lead singer and guitarist in the Swedish rock band Crucified Barbara. The band released 4 studio albums and has toured all over Europe and USA before splitting in 2016.
After a long break, Mia is now back in the limelight with more inspiration than ever. She is exploring new musical paths in the style of singer/songwriter and Americana. With an acoustic foundation, there is room for more dynamic vocals and songwriting. With her strong voice and stage presence, Mia has gained a reputation as an artist to count on. Now, she embarks on a new journey as a solo artist and songwriter with her debut album Coming Home and new music on the way!
