*shels

A transatlantic collective based in California with roots in punk/metal/hardcore *shels was formed in 2003 from the ashes of UK cult favorites Mahumodo by Mehdi Safa. Known for blistering live performances and cinematic soundscapes.

*shels released their debut full-length album, &#39;<a href="spotify:album:4iEaigVfWLITrmwcj0bAfN" data-name="Sea of the Dying Dhow">Sea of the Dying Dhow</a>&#39; on June 18, 2007. The album received worldwide critical acclaim culminating in it being named one of the top albums of 2007 by Rock Sound magazine. The group would go on to release their sophomore album &#39;<a href="spotify:album:3xIpxM4JMvq0vHjtQhgncJ" data-name="Plains of the Purple Buffalo">Plains of the Purple Buffalo</a>&#39; on June 27, 2011 touring Russia &amp; the UK.

Currently working on a 3rd studio album with plans for tours in Europe and the US.
