She’s In Parties are a hazy and ethereal quartet whose own idiosyncratic amalgamation of shoegaze and dream-pop belies their relatively young years. The band is led by Irish-born frontperson Katie Dillon (vocals/guitar), alongside her friends Herbie Wiseman (guitar), Matt Carman (drums), and Charlie Johnson (bass).
After premiering on Steve Lamacq’s BBC 6 Music show, the Essex/London based indie quartet share new single ‘Same Old Story’, as well as announcing new EP ‘Are You Dreaming?’ due November 7th via Submarine Cat.
‘Same Old Story’ is a striking return with an ethereal, dreamlike sound. A lush fusion of '90s grunge grit and melodic indie-pop charm hails in a maturer, darker sound as one of the most promising bands in their fields mark their next chapter.
Their live shows have also been lauded, and the band are due to showcase more tracks from the upcoming EP over an extensive run of festival dates this summer, including Truck, Tramlines, Y Not, Victorious and Reeperbahn
