Chuck Shirock began recording and performing under the pseudonym &#39;SHIROCK,&#39; while at Belmont University, in Nashville, TN. Chuck performed with a varying cast of backing musicians, before being joined by Pap Shirock on keyboards, vocals, and participating in the song-writing.

Chuck and Pap were soon joined by Adam Gatchel and Derek Blank. The four toured around the US, performing hundreds of shows. Jason Bynum (formerly of <a href="spotify:artist:74XFHRwlV6OrjEM0A2NCMF" data-name="Paramore">Paramore</a>) later joined, and SHIROCK recorded their first &#39;official&#39; album, Everything Burns.

SHIROCK steadily built to be an internationally acclaimed band, performing for over 300,000 people, touring with artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:3YQKmKGau1PzlVlkL1iodx" data-name="Twenty One Pilots">Twenty One Pilots</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:26T3LtbuGT1Fu9m0eRq5X3" data-name="Cage The Elephant">Cage The Elephant</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:5wFXmYsg3KFJ8BDsQudJ4f" data-name="Manchester Orchestra">Manchester Orchestra</a>, among many others, partnering with International brands such as American Eagle and Hollister Co., signing a distribution deal with Sony/RED, selling over 30,000 CD&#39;s, and securing 40+ song placements in major TV shows, films, commercials, and video games.


Debut single, “New Solution” broke Pop/Top 40 charts. Following much acclaim in North America, SHIROCK&#39;s label/management, The Movement Group partnered with Autonomy Music Group (Communion Music, <a href="spotify:artist:6UE7nl9mha6s8z0wFQFIZ2" data-name="Robyn">Robyn</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3gd8FJtBJtkRxdfbTu19U2" data-name="Mumford & Sons">Mumford & Sons</a>) for a UK / European release of Everything Burns, resulting in 3 radio campaigns, and placements on BBC’s Radio 2.



In 2016 Chuck Shirock relaunched as C. SHIROCK, saying, “this new work is an evolution of sorts - a continuation of my body of work that began with SHIROCK.”
