Shorty & the Mob is a rock band based out of Oxford, MS. Drawing influences from the great rock n’ roll bands of the past to indie & alternative artists of the present with a rougher & tougher sound, Shorty & the Mob brings a unique vibe to today’s rock music. Bringing the meat back into the rock scene that has been missing for years, Shorty & the Mob covers classics & modern music adding their own unique spins through collective improvisation and restructuring of songs to provide a completely new feel that suits their style. The band is comprised of Collin Short (Vocalist/Guitarist/Songwriter), Jonathan Peters (Guitarist), Colin Carpenter (Bass Guitarist), and Jack Lewis (Drums). Shorty & the Mob’s energy has powerfully connected with audiences across the south. Just releasing their first single “Mississippi” and steadily growing in popularity, the gritty and high-energy live performances have invoked attitudes reminiscent of early rock n’ roll heavyweights while keeping in touch with popular trends and songs.
