Mike Lee aka "Shroud City" is an up and coming artist out of Kauai, Hawaii.
Born Summer of 91', Mike was raised on the westside of the island of Kauai in Waimea and Kekaha.
it was there he found his first musical influences in Tupac, Gregory Issacs and other hip hop and reggae groups. During his adolescent years, he moved to the "Mainland" U.S.A often making beats with his hands and freestyling lunch break.
Today, he is able to bring elements of his island upbringing with sharp attention to detail as well as articulate and draw the listener in to the harsh realities of our jaded society through the experiences of himself and his family in his storytelling, cadences and art. Shroudcity also works with local non-profit organizations in his community to help youth engage in the arts.
