Toronto, Canada based multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter “SHYO” has seamlessly combined a style of soul, hip-hop, R&B, and LoFi music synergizing an energetic yet emotional sound. “The boy with the long hair” is full of surprises, ranging from rapping; to smooth RNB vocals; to raw booming screams; infusing sounds from varying artist like Tobi Lou, Anderson Paak, and Mac Miller. From playing drums and guitar in indie alternative bands; attending the Humber Jazz post secondary education program; to singing in an electronic/RNB group; music has always been a defining part of his life. Since then, SHYO has created a unique blend of all these different genres into one cohesive emotional/playful sound.
