Side Montero

Side Montero are an indie/alt rock band with jazz influence coming out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Singer/Rhythm guitarist Aaron Lee, lead guitarist Jaren Robledo, and drummer Levi Maes grew up together in the same neighborhood, and as their jam sessions became more serious, bass player and high school friend Ben Work was invited into the fold. After struggling to come up with a name for the group, a night that ended with a flipped Mitsubishi Montero led to the bands' name, "Side Montero", and in late 2018 the four friends began recording and performing under this moniker.

Side Montero released their debut single, "First Class", on January 20th 2019, and quickly thereafter released their debut EP , "Songs From the S" in the Summer of 2019. The band has built a loyal following through their energetic and technical performances.

Side Montero’s newest project “Nosebleeds” released in the Fall of 2024 and they continue to play shows and write music!
