Similarion

Similarion is a Dutch indie rockband featuring Mariq van der Steege (vocals), Loraine Jonker (vocals), Jorike Tuinstra (vocals & keys), Finn Clement (electric guitar), Stern Hoek (bass guitar) and Jens Bosman (drums).

Similarion started as a schoolband around the end of 2020. This being during the covid lockdown, the band was tasked with writing original music together via video calls. This sparked a unique way of WorKing together where each band member was able to contribute with a part of their own personal styles. They aLL added on to each others ideas by sending recordings, lyrics and sounds back anD forward until ultimately they managed to write their first EP.
