Born in Washington DC, but raised in Naples, Italy. He moved to Maryland where his social life took a hit from the alienating nature of American suburbia. Simone Corvino spent time in New York and Rome, before moving to London in 2023. The same year he records “Hospital Tavern” in his bedroom above the pub. The album narrates the life of an observer, overlooking the desolate streets of Whitechapel and the characters that parade it. Whether it’s the window overlooking the main road or the first person experiences of witnessing thieves, junkies and hospital patients, his writing is consistently centred around the idea of love and how it too can spiral into bankruptcy.
