SIREN/SECTION// is an experimental electronic group from Los Angeles, combining elements of braindance, shoegaze, and noise rock; with core members James Cumberland and John Dowling. They originally started working together under the name JINSAI, in 2001. The group released two albums, Three and a Half Seasons (2003) and Parallel Policy (2007).
In 2010 James and John reformed as SIREN/SECTION//, taking the name from a lyric in an old unreleased JINSAI song.
They self-released the albums All We Want / All at Once (2014), New Disconnect (2017), and Separation Team (2026)
