Rapper, producer & DJ from Malaysia, Sylvester Kuan, better known as SIREN, blends elements of classic hip-hop, boom bap and alternative genres in a striking yet refreshing way. He started making his own music in 2017, with just a laptop in his living room. He grew to perform as a DJ, putting his versatile turntable skills to good use having performed at numerous local Malaysian bars & events.
As an emerging rapper-producer, SIREN focuses on bringing the classic storytelling of lyrical hip-hop together with a fresh modern feel to be part of the next generation of artists who cultivate the music scene in Malaysia. His music gained traction after releasing a boom bap focused album called "Tired?", touching on the struggles an emerging artist like him would have in their journey to the top.
