When the mysterious electronic combo, Girl One And The Grease Guns, decided to end their sonic mission in 2019 (after releasing seven 7" singles, one 12" single, one full-length album, one mini-album and one compilation CD) fans of the band were left wondering if they would ever hear anything from those elusive individuals ever again. They didn't have to wait very long to find out - because, from the smouldering ashes came Sissy Space Echo & The Invisible Collaborators. This is a band who don't stick to one style. They're just as likely to produce a fuzzed-up drone rock record as they are a synthpop indie dancefloor filler. Or, they might not do either of those things. They are Sissy Space Echo & The Invisible Collaborators. They're something of an enigma...and they do exactly what they want.
