Sista Livity has been deeply influenced by Black music since childhood.
She began performing in the Barcelona sound system scene in 2016, accompanying national and international collectives, crews, selectors and producers on the microphone during live sessions. Since then, she has built a solid presence within the reggae and dub circuit.
While she collaborates with different producers, most of her recorded work can be found on <a href="spotify:artist:0Kj11QnX7Ds8aC7Ryrly6A" data-name="Good Over Evil">Good Over Evil</a> productions, her musical family. Her music is available on digital platforms as well as in physical formats (CD and vinyl).
In the Live Dub sessions developed together with Good Over Evil, Sista Livity explores a more spiritual and meditative approach. Within this specific format, she interprets ancestral mantras and chants, rooted in spiritual traditions, which are not recorded and are expressed only within the live session. These elements add a unique dimension to the performance, moving from deeply meditative and spiritual moments to powerful and uplifting expressions.
In recent years, these sessions have placed increased emphasis on the spiritual and introspective aspects of the performance, while still delivering her most well-known and powerful songs. This allows the audience to experience a musical journey, evolving naturally from calm, grounded moments to intense and conscious energy.
