Sister Lubei is a rare gem from the Republic of Palau who emerged on Hawaii music scene in 2001 delivering genuine music with original style, lyrics and depth. In 2006, she released her first album ‘Til Zion’ which quickly jump started her music career and gained attention of the Hawaii Music Awards, placing her a nomination in 2007 as the “Best Upcoming New Artist”.
In 2014, she was invited by the President of Palau, Tommy Rememgesau Jr. to perform at the 45th Annual Pacific Island Forum. Sister Lubei has also performed as an opening act for Reggae Heavyweights such as Gregory Issacs, Morgan Heritage, Maxi Priest, Mikey Dread, Freddie McGregor, Maacho & Cool Connection, Yellowman, ThirdWorld, Taurus Riley, Nas, Dub Apocolypse, and much more.
