In the 1996 Shawn migrated to Brooklyn, New York, seeking new opportunities. He brought with him the rich cultural heritage of Jamaica, infusing the Brooklyn music scene with his energetic and provocative performances.
Adopting the moniker War Professa, Shawn began making waves in Brooklyn's dancehall scene. His fiery lyrics, clever wordplay, and captivating stage presence quickly earned him recognition.
