Skeemers

Skeemers is a Budapest based surf band from Hungary. The five of us is playing music from a very early age and we went through a lot of different bands when we finally found each others and started to make music. In the beginning it was folk and when time moved on it started to get heavier - eventually our song Fairlady was born and we felt like we found our way.

We recorded a few songs and Fairlady brought us the attention of the critics and the Hungarian underground scene.

In 2019 on BUSH (Budapest Showcase Hub) we applied to a competition where bands had the chance to be heard by Nora Felder, music supervisor of Stranger Things or O.A.
She choose us out of 200 applicants and spoke highly on the panel of the songs she had a chance to hear (Fairlady and Surfboard). We had the chance to be featured in the 6th season of Ray Donovan last year and other smaller productions too.

Our goal has always been to record songs and to be able to play concerts in our country or abroad. We are very excited and looking forward to play more!
