Skilla Skillpiano

Skilla Skillpiano was born in Chicago, Illinois but raised in the south in Tampa, Florida. As a young child he was a dreamer to become one of the best MCs of all time while being inspired by great legends in Hip Hop such as; Rakim, Big Pun, Nas and Big L. He started his local career as an MC battling in his neighborhood at the age of 16 alongside other young MCs and formed "Third Degree" making songs on karoake machines and showing his talent in cyphers. In the age of 18, Skilla joined DJ Reality and was taken under her wing as his mentor. By the age of 20, Skilla decided to form his own team alongside long friend Jorge Agudelo and formed "Kontractz Ent.". In 2006, his first ever mixtape was created under Kontractz "Served with a Cold Plate" where he did songs with Military Militant and had his first underground hit song "My Domain". In 2009, he joined Skrayt and Yohamna to have very first full roster of Kontractz Ent. and in 2010, Skilla was part of Kontractz compilation mixtape "In Between the Lines" . Now he is working on his newest and hottest single "Firewoman" under Kontractz and also is in affilation with long time friends Splak and Bethel to form A.T.M, a local Tampa hiphop group that is making loud noise in the Tampa Bay region.
