“Sky Country offers up warm, hazy sun soaked rock n’ roll inspired by the coasts and deserts of the western frontier—a genuine California sound born from the lineages of renegade surf culture and ramblers of lost nowhere lands. The songs amble down the bleached highways of windswept americana where guitars can still sound like bones, drums still barrel down the tracks, and poets still wink and grumble at the human heart.”
Formed in 2013 on the California central coast, Sky Country has performed shows throughout the state and independently released three full-length albums led by composer/producer Nico Georis. Performance highlights include opening for Chris Robinson Brotherhood (Freaks for Festival), White Buffalo, NRBQ, Linda Perhacs, The Growlers, The Mattson 2, The Mother Hips and Leon Russell. In 2018 the band members followed their own individual paths and the Sky Country era came to an end.
Nico Georis - vocals, guitar, keyboards
Mikey Selbicky - vocals, guitar
Will Condon - drums
Adam Zerbe - bass, vocals
