'spun' is the second offering from lo-fi pop outfit, strange bodies. the nine-song album was recorded over two weeks in january 2015 in asheville, north carolina by joel blanken. while a four piece band incarnation played songs from the album at local gigs throughout 2015, the album has remained unreleased until now. drawing inspiration from 90s alternative rock, grunge and shoegaze, the album touches on themes of heartbreak, disillusionment, euphoria and filters it all through an unpolished, albeit earnest production style. strange bodies has since relocated to hamilton, ontario as of 2020.
