Rousing pop-punk quintet Sleep on It first came together in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood in 2012. The band's initial lineup consisted of guitarists TJ Horansky and Jacob Marquis, bassist AJ Khah, drummer Luka Fischman, and singer John Cass. Following a pair of independently released EPs, Everything, All at Once (2014) and Safe Again (2015), a personnel shift brought in newcomer Zech Pluister to replace Cass on vocals. Behind Pluister's bold delivery, Sleep on It found their footing and were signed to Equal Vision Records in 2016. Their first release for the label was another EP, Lost Along the Way, followed in November 2017 by their first full-length album, Overexposed. Two years later the band returned with their sophomore long-player Pride & Disaster, which featured production work by Kyle Black (Pierce the Veil, All Time Low). ~ Timothy Monger, Rovi
