Slick Walk

This duo combines producer Stefan 'Merse' Ulrich - who brings an electronic twist to his bass-driven, sample-based hip hop sound - with mad turntablist skills from German DMC champion
DJ Robert Smith.

Debuting on Bandcamp with their self-titled 12-track album in 2015, they went on to become a well regarded live act in the Berlin scene, live-remixing their own material and blending it in with tracks from a myriad of different genres and artists – making for an interesting, danceable and head-nodding experience.
They had their first physical release in March 2017 on Dezi-Belle Records - a 7“ limited edition featuring the songs „Never Ever“ (with Atlanta-based Rapper Supastition) and „Escapism“.

Throughout 2018 they worked on some remixes played a good number of live gigs and then concentrated on new material that resulted in a series of singles self-released in 2019 – all of which appear on the Dichotomy Tape, slated for release in the Spring of 2022.

Slick Walk has been collaborating with DJ Oonops of Agogo Records since 2020, releasing several singles and remixes on 7“ with his series Oonops Drops.
