As a nod to his silhouette, Slim Paul is named after the bluesmen of the 30s.
Slim Paul started his journey fifteen years ago. A time spent with a guitar strapped to his shoulder. In the streets first, then on the biggest stages of the world... Along Toulouse streets and through ten years of concerts and records as lead singer of Scarecrow Blueshiphop, Slim Paul’s bag got heavier, filled with stories, ideas and notes and chords. After three EP’s and two albums setting up his music and his writing, he still walks along that lonely road.
With an opaque and powerful voice, he delivers songs that stir the soul. Sometimes intimate and heartrending Blues, sometimes political rock, protest song or folk balade, his music talks to heart and mind.
From love to death, from social enclosure to freedom, he sings stories about ourselves, all in shades, contrasts and delicacy.
