Slinky Bones is the founding voice, mind, and riff machine behind <a href="spotify:artist:0C3Q1Fpsk0iRTA2u6LNPSm" data-name="The Melting Minds">The Melting Minds</a>. Known for his dynamic vocals and iconic guitar work on cult tracks like Tthe hypnotic “<a href="spotify:album:33aPIJQNVtoujOhyeo6sJs" data-name="The Snake">The Snake</a>” and the high-speed sermon “<a href="spotify:album:7CAyCLhkWofrQ5Aix995CL" data-name="Possessing The Witch">Possessing The Witch</a>" from the debut album <a href="spotify:album:5wOYrPP6oTY2diM0lDBRRx" data-name="Alternate Universe">Alternate Universe</a>", he channels chaos and order through sound, myth, and movement.
Born in Wonosari in 1993, Slinky has been shaking Indonesia’s underground scenes since 2007—reviving punk, rock, blues, and psychedelic noise on his own terms. In mid-2020, he summoned The Melting Minds from the chaos, forming the group in a time of collapse and reinvention.
Slinky’s songwriting draws deeply from Javanese folklore, local unrest, and the spirit of ’60s/’70s psychedelia—fused with wild experimentation and possessed stagecraft. He handpicked each member of the current Mind V, believing not just in skill, but in resonance. As the band’s spiritual engine, he remains ever restless—conjuring, evolving, and dreaming loud from the drylands of Wonosari.
