An ethereal grunge explosion created Slow Team, a post-modern alternative three-piece from Leeds. Pulling together shoegaze, electronic, acoustic, and grunge elements, this new band has risen from the ashes of previous projects that spent years defining sounds that have been feeding into making their sound even silkier.
Taking primary inspiration from the likes of Bon Iver, Radiohead, and DIIV, Slow Team have been making huge impressions in their hometown whilst beginning to dominate cities like Nottingham, Manchester, and Hull. Their live shows are dynamically challenging, offering listeners the chance to explore further than the extremes of their influence.
This Slow Team is in fact not slow at all and will continue to snowball beyond the bounds of your view until they’re shadowing everything in their sights. Keep your eyes peeled.
