Sly Boogy is an American musician, spoken word poet, and content creator originally from the Inland Empire of California. In 2002 he signed with Bolo Entertainment /J Records. During his residency at the label he had several successful commercial single releases. Among the most notable was the Scott Storch produced "That'z My Name," which peaked at #80 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs Chart and is featured on the "Need for Speed Underground 2" video game and is also featured on several episodes of MTV programs. (Scott Storch is a mutli-platinum producer who has produced hits for artists such as Dr Dre, Christina Aguilera, Britiney Spears, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and many more). Sly and Scott also collabed on the club smash "It'z Nuthin" which was a well-received single on KPWR (Power 106FM) and peaked at #77 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs Chart.
