Jackson Smith, also known as Smith Almighty, was born in 2003 and raised in the small town of Oley Valley, Pennsylvania. Smith always appreciated music and grew up listening to Queen, The Beatles, Weezer, and Squeeze. He first started playing instruments in 4th grade when he joined the orchestra. Smith played the violin for roughly two months before deciding to switch to percussion. After being a member of the chorus and band in elementary and middle school; Smith began performing with a band annually during his high school's winter mosaic.
Smith currently attends Temple University in Philadelphia and continues to make music. While studying there, he also sings and plays the guitar, and picked up piano and production software skills while working on his first song. At 19, he used the Smith Almighty moniker to self-release his first single Icarus for streaming in 2022.
