Snail released their first self-titled album in 1993 on Big Deal records, claiming instant critical success in magazines such as BAM!, Magnet and many others. The follow-up EP All Channels Are Open was released in 1994 and sadly served as the final 90's release for the band before they broke up.
Reunited in 2009, Snail released Blood, a collection of previously unreleased songs that were going to be their follow-up to All Channels Are Open in the 90's. The album was released on Meteor City Records and has become a favorite of fans for it's unique blend of catchy melodic heavy tunes.
After touring to support Blood the band self-released Terminus, a more classic metal sound. Then came the well-loved and critically acclaimed Feral album released in 2015 by Small Stone Records. Snail supported Feral with an East Coast mini-tour that concluded at the Obelisk All-Dayer (Saint Vitus Club, Brooklyn) as well as a West Coast Tour. They also performed at Psycho Las Vegas in 2017.
