Soaked In is a musical project from Norwich, UK currently formed of guitarist and singer Ollie Nicholls, drummer Joe Barnes and bassist/synthesist Matt Northcott.
The band formed as a writing project between Ollie and guitarist Ciaran Forrow in 2019. The addition of Matt brought a new electronic element to the sound and the trio worked to write and record the Soaked In EP. The band developed further after welcoming long standing friend and drummer Joe whilst Ciaran stepped away to pursue humanitarian projects. Soaked In describe their sound as a shifting landscape of pysch-surf-dream-rock; the members switch instruments in a fluid writing process and feel no commitment to one genre. The band hope to offer something unique with each release. Following 2020’s “Plume” single and accompanying Soaked In EP, the band are writing songs for an upcoming record and preparing to perform their live debut.
