«The Slow Painters is chockablock with a career’s worth of awe-striking moments.»
- The Big Takeover
Never has a band name been more fitting than that of The Slow Painters. 16 years after forming in Norway’s capital, the four-piece finally released their self-titled debut LP on August 28th 2020.
The ten song debut blends brit pop with noisy-yet-melodic indie rock. It’s a testament to lost opportunities and outsider pop songs too good to let go.
The album is produced and mixed by Sjur Lyseid of <a href="spotify:artist:0zW8MIdwbq3hJdWUr9unvH" data-name="The Little Hands Of Asphalt">The Little Hands Of Asphalt</a> and mastered by George Tanderø.
The Slow Painters are: Andreas W. H. Lindvåg (vocals, guitar), Simen Breen (guitar, vocals), Paal Brevik Wangsness (bass) and Øyvind Bersvendsen (drums, vocals).
