Soft Hair is an experimental pop collaboration between New Zealand psych artist <a href="spotify:artist:247AfC9pLuqwgpH8Mo96oA">Connan Mockasin</a> and British musician Sam Dust, who also records as <a href="spotify:artist:2JYMUWD8r1jFFjD1V3WcCX">LA PRIEST</a>. The two first met in 2009 when Dust's former band, <a href="spotify:artist:5ZBQea34QfBgEDkcGEKK2b">Late of the Pier</a>, supported <a href="spotify:artist:247AfC9pLuqwgpH8Mo96oA">Mockasin</a> on tour. They soon began collaborating in their spare time between developing their own projects, emerging over five years later with a self-titled debut LP under the name Soft Hair.
