Soheil Rajab

Soheil Rajab is an Iranian vocalist known for his mastery of traditional Persian music. Growing up in a musical family, he began learning the santur as a child under the guidance of his father, Mohsen Rajab, a santur maker. Soheil later immersed himself in the intricate world of Iranian vocal techniques, learning from renowned mentors such as the late Yousef Faryadi, Pouria Akhavas, and the esteemed Ali Jahandar.
Soheil has collaborated with prominent musicians like Ali Ghamsari, contributing to multiple singles and participating in groundbreaking projects such as the Iranian Tar series in Yazd and Maragheh. His performances include:
- A virtual concert at Norway's Festival (November 2020)
- The “Tar Majnoon Mooye Leyli” concert series in 2022
- The music-theater production “Pirooz and Parizad,” touring Iran in 2024.
He has also performed with the Saineh Ensemble on Jam-e-Jam TV (2019), appeared as a guest vocalist in Alireza Assar’s 2022 concert, and lent his voice to the soundtrack of the series Ba’d Az Azadi (After Freedom).
In 2024, he performed alongside the Youth Orchestra, conducted by Arman Norouzi, during the Saba Festival’s tribute to the legendary Farhad Fakhreddini.
Soheil Rajab is also dedicated to the education of Iranian singing and is developing a comprehensive teaching method to preserve and expand the art of Persian vocal music.
