Solsticio are a five pieced Melodic Hardcore/Metalcore band from Santiago, Chile, who mix the aggression of low tuned guitars, the attitude of punk and the melancholy of melodic hardcore since 2014. They released their first LP in 2016 (which was re-recorded in 2022) and an EP in 2018. A second LP was released in 2023, taking their melodic influences further than ever before.

In 2025, they released "Recuerdos de un Ocaso", revisiting old songs that, for different reasons, didn't make it into any of the previous records, but which deserved to be listened to, according to the band.

Or, as they say, maybe just a bunch of sad guys playing sad music for sad people.
