Somadina is a genre-fluid artist from Nigeria. She grew up in Den Haag, The Netherlands and moved back to Nigeria in her early teens. She merges raw emotion with bold alternative energy, blending Afrobeats, R&B, Punk and Electronic textures into a sound that is fearless, futuristic & psychedelic . Her music is loud, vulnerable and unapologetically her breaking rules while baring soul.

With multiple global performances such as Lollapalooza under her belt, an opening for Asa at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, a residency at Abbey Road Studios and a successful European Tour, she is indeed a standout sensation.

Somadina, an official member of the Recording Academy, has received co-signs from the Grammys, Rolling Stone & BBC stating “Afrobeats needs a new hero, someone to come through and take that genre to new places… someone like Somadina can completely change that altogether”.
