Sommersick delivers its 2000s alt rock sound with a unique modern twist, and an emphasis on interesting songwriting and composition. Beginning their work in 2020, what started out as a short-lived production duo - with the goal to produce 6 songs for a school project, began to take shape as a band. The philosophy is simple - a song is either good, or bad, before it's produced - and honesty and authenticity are above all else.

Out Of Spite, their debut album, brings together a wide range of influences - from trip hop to progressive metal, all the way to folk-pop, to create a rich, raw, and heavy sound. It attempts to walk the line between modern and different. Nothing is off limits - if it works, it works.
