Songs About Rivers is the musical project of Brendan White. He is a songwriter at heart with introspective lyrics in the vein of John K. Samson dotting the maps of his personal history. His debut album "Canton and Field" came out in December of 2022 and flexed a collection of songs written over a period of about 13 years.
His second album, "Symbols and Signs" (out 12/6/24) demonstrates a huge step forward in production. The same heartfelt songs are layered in waves of instrumentation creating an immersive sound.
Originally from Virginia, Brendan now resides in the East Village of Manhattan. He regularly performs in and around New York City.
