SONIC WHIP is a Dutch alternative rock band that became founded by the brothers Meryn and Florian Bevelander.
The combination of heavy riffs and polyphonic lead vocals seems to betray that Alice In Chains is Sonic Whip's biggest influence.
But because the overall sound is noticeably more cheerful and regurlarly Queens Of The Stone Age-remembering stubborn stoner riffs pop up, SONIC WHIP has it anyway a completely personal face. Their self-released debut album “Triskelion” was recently released
which was presented through a successful and sold-out release show in their hometown of Nijmegen.
“You're getting hit with the Sonic Whip”…where it's all about danceable guitar riffs and hard grooves.
