In Hamilton, Ontario, Sons of Butcher are stoking the ashes of their old animated flames. A rock band turned cartoon series, Sons of Butcher debuted on Canadian national television in 2005. The two seasons aired across Canada on Teletoon, and was shown in 200 countries around the world. As a recording band, their music fuses vulgar absurdist comedy with grunge and classic rock in a marriage of styles that has been described as "<a href="spotify:artist:1XpDYCrUJnvCo9Ez6yeMWh" data-name="Tenacious D">Tenacious D</a> meets <a href="spotify:artist:65X3sG8LVBQN5033RqB6qn" data-name="Spinal Tap">Spinal Tap</a>". Ricky Butcher (vox/guitar/orgasms), Sol Butcher (guitar/vox/hugs) and Doug Borski (bass/vox/mop) comprise the main three characters, and along with original series producer/co-creator Max Smith, the boys are awakening from a decade long slumber.
