Sørgmodig is a solo project created in 2019 by Henrique Cruz.
It philosophically explores deep emotions through instrumental songs. Introspective, Melancholic, Pure and Sincere. Inspired by black metal bands such as <a href="spotify:artist:2Wi7zzccDDPTfNZitmE2pH" data-name="Thy Light">Thy Light</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7wWVpKpMtvSX9mQapjtKAD" data-name="Nocturnal Depression">Nocturnal Depression</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7oBiHmzfoAYKAFU5uO65Jc" data-name="Psychonaut 4">Psychonaut 4</a>.

&#34;Instrumental DSBM is not new within the subgenre but this Brazilian band brings originality. Dosing soft melodies with beautiful melancholy, it illustrates visual landscapes in the listener. It is as if a journey through gray woods, which shelter only those people who are saturated with a suffocating life amid the concrete urban walls, has begun.&#34;

&#34;Under Nordic influences, this project formed by Henrique Cruz brings a mixture of sadness and enchantment. Aimed at landscapes where the nature of the Nordic countries can be mentally visualized, the instrumental songs lead the listener to a melancholy and feeling of welcome by beings belonging to the mythology of these regions. &#34;

In late 2023, Henrique Cruz joined <a href="spotify:artist:569I7vwxLb939aUYVs4zc0" data-name="Nine Lives Left">Nine Lives Left</a> as the drummer.
