Dancehall & Reggae Soundsystem since 2002.
Infected by soundsystem-tapes from Jamaica, concerts and reggae parties, the Swiss crew started their own soundsystem: Soul Rebel Sound. The team rapidly built up a reputation in Switzerland and became known for their energetic shows and their innovative music-selections. In 2004 Soul Rebel Sound founded their party label “Chocolate from Kingston” which regularly organizes Dancehall and Reggaeparties in Switzerland.
The crew consists of founding member Rennie & Advocyat. In 2012 Soul Rebel Sound released their first own music production the Meltdown Riddim with artists like <a href="spotify:artist:5sK8BsvyDl4TFA6KaBf8or" data-name="Charly Black">Charly Black</a>, Bugle, Jahmiel & more . In 2014 they dropped their sophomore production "<a href="spotify:album:4PRl5sS1y53RzKqAtheQp8" data-name="Rising Riddim Selection">Rising Riddim Selection</a>" with Lutan Fyah, Jah Mason, & other Reggae artists.
In 2020 the modern uptempo Reggae Riddim called "Count Your Blessings Riddim" with it's Gold-streaming tune by Keznamdi came to light. The project also festures Pressure Busspipe, Jah Vinci, King Mas, Natel & Zagga.
The latest production "Loyalty With Royalty Riddim" is a classic Reggae One Drop & features new talents like Prince Levy with his reality tune "Ghetto Reflex"!
