The Soul Seekers are a contemporary Black gospel group based in Los Angeles. Each of the eight members -- Teddy Campbell, Warryn Campbell, Nisan Stewart, John "Jubu" Smith, Gerald Haddon, Charlie Bereal, Craig Brockman, and Eric Seats -- had credits in the gospel music business prior to the band's formation in 2000. The Soul Seekers first made a public appearance at Stewart's father's church, the Greater Emmanuel Temple Church, and they continued to perform live there over the next few years. In 2005, they signed with GospoCentric Records and released their eponymous debut. It would be another five years before they put out Soul Seekers II. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, Rovi
