Formed in 2017, Soulgroove is a soulful reggae trio hailing from the cozy hills of Shillong, India. Founded by siblings John Rymbai (drums) and Elza Rymbai (lead vocals/guitar/songwriting), the band was later joined by Zediah Hynniewta (lead guitar/lead vocals/songwriting). With a solid lineup, Soulgroove honed their sound through performances at music clubs and festivals, often featuring talented session musicians to enhance their live shows.
Their debut EP, " Soulgroovin' " (2023), marked a pivotal moment, introducing their unique blend of Reggae and Soul to the world. Follow-up single "Shoebox" (2024) further cemented their reputation.
In the summer of 2024, Soulgroove embarked on their debut "India On Fyah" tour, sharing their music, energy, and burning passion across eight cities in India
