Visions in Bloom - with their second studio album and the multi-million streamed song Space Train, Spiral Drive establish themselves as one of the most exciting international Neo-Psych acts across Europe.
On the 2022 release German-Austrian music producer and multi-instrumentalist Raphaël Neikes shows his ability to blend psychedelic rock, alternative, psych pop, grunge, and indie rock into a coherent and distinctive sound.
References to artists like Tame Impala, Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, MGMT or even Pink Floyd are often drawn, yet the band remains hard to categorize.
It's no surprise that musicians like Ben McLeod (All Them Witches, US) and Lord Fascinator (Children Collide, AUS) have collaborated with the versatile bandleader Neikes and that a significant part of their fanbase, located in the USA, the UK and Australia eagerly anticipates the band’s visit.
As recent releases continue to gain international attention, Neikes is working on two new albums. In collaboration with Lord Fascinator he produced a krautrock-inspired concept album called REISE at his Moonwalker Productions studio. A follow-up to Visions in Bloom is also in the works.
On January 16, a collaborative single by Spiral Drive and Kalk¥l called „Waves“ will
be released. Co-produced with Michael Nowatzky, the track marks the first time Neikes also steps behind the drum kit.
